Race and Cultural Identity
Peggy MacIntosh wrote a ground breaking article that lists the ways in which White people don't have to constantly validate their identity. This is called White Privilege. [http://www.deanza.edu/faculty/lewisjulie/White%20Priviledge%20Unpacking%20the%20Invisible%20Knapsack.pdf]
Philpapers [http://philpapers.org/browse/philosophy-of-gender-race-and-sexuality] is a database which list papers on different areas of philosophy. The blurbs at the top of each list are often useful in defining the way each field has developped in philosophical thought.
Jonathan Lear's Radical Hope: Ethics in the Face of Cultural Devastation [https://books.google.com.au/books?id=Ip4mJjfsukwC] cites Native American voices to explore a profound ethical question that transcends his time and challenges us all: how should one face the possibility that one's culture might collapse? There are copies of this book at Macquarie and Sydney Universities.

Gender and Sexual Identity
There are lots of links about GLTB identity (from a sociological perspective, which is still a good starting point) on the CAFS page [http://riversidegirlslibrary.weebly.com/gltb-identities.html] and Transgender Identities [http://riversidegirlslibrary.weebly.com/transgender.html] .
This list of Heterosexual Priviledge [http://www.campusactivism.org/uploads/straightprivilege.pdf] is modeled on Peggy MacIntosh 's list of White Privileges.

If you are looking specifically at he construction of gender, it has a separate page here [http://riversidegirlslibrary.weebly.com/gender.html]

Feminism/s
Finally a Feminism 101 Blog [https://finallyfeminism101.wordpress.com/purpose/] tries to address the most common questions about feminism and give you ammunition for arguments with anti-feminists. If you're generally interested in feminism and haven't chosen a topic yet, this could be a good starting point. The Feminist Ezine raises some current issues from a non-academic perspective and gives an overview of different feminist perpectives. There are many different branches of Feminism, each of which reflect a specific cultural and historical context. GWANET's History and Theory of Feminism [http://www.gender.cawater-info.net/knowledge_base/rubricator/feminism_e.htm] and Wikigender [http://www.wikigender.org/wiki/feminist-perspectives/] outline different types of feminisms simply, while Stanford Encyclopaedia of Philosophy [http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/feminism-political/#LibFem] goes into more detail about these ideas and contexts. Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy also has a fantastic page looking at philosophical analyses of the Objectification of women [http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/feminism-objectification/].
For an alternative viewpoint (filled with bias and vitriol!) that depicts all the negative side of the Men's Movement, look at Gallager's Feminism for Beginners [http://www.avoiceformen.com/feminism/feminism-for-beginners/]. This is especially useful if you are looking for some devil's advocate points to argue against. (Yes, I am very biased, but it bugs me when men are threatened by the few steps we've made toward equality, especially when they use spurious arguments to support inaccurate generalisations!)
For a practical appkication of current political actions look at this submission to the Victorian Gender Equality Strategy [http://whe.org.au/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2016/05/TFER-RFVP-GE-Strategy-submission-final.pdf] or The Rechstein Foundation [http://www.womendonors.org.au/Gender-wise], a charity which supports projects that promote gender equality (the questions on the submissions guide are really interesting).
Another interesting type of Feminism is that conducted by the punk band and radical protest group, Pussy Riot. They are interviewed here (in Russian, so be patient with the translator and the bumbling at the beginning) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXbx_P7UVtE] by two eminent feminist philosophers, and their wikipedia entry [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pussy_Riot] has a large bibliography of media reports..
French Feminism
This is the more heavily philosophical branch of Feminism, concerned with abstract ideas like the way women construct their bodies and identities through language. It both draws on and critiques post-structuralist concepts from psychology, religion and linguistics. This is the area of Philosophy I know most about, so although it's challenging, I can probably help you make sense of the research (because most of the writing is aimed at post-graduate uni students!).

The video on Simone de Beauvior's Critique of Woman as Other [http://study.com/academy/lesson/simone-de-beauvoirs-critique-of-woman-as-other.html#transcriptHeader] is a simple introduction to the concept of woman within a binary system which underlies almost all feminist thinking since. I'm considering signing up as a teacher, so let me know if you think this is awesome... Signs: journal of women and Culture and Society has an entire edition devoted to Simone de Beauvoir - you can access this online through the NSW State Library.
In-depth overviews:
Cavallaro's French Feminist Theory [https://caringlabor.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/french-feminist-theory-dani-cavallaro.pdf] has an excellent history of French Feminism and outline all of the key thinkers. It's a great starting point if you're happy skimming through without needing to understand every single word.
