This is a very important and underrepresented topic. Sexuality Education in Australia explains some of the issues (though you'll need more up to date statistics if possible. The National Survey of Australian Secondary Students and Sexual Health is conducted every five years and is the most comprehensive survey of teen sexuality in Australia. (Results for 2018 aren't out yet so you'll need to use 2013).
