Visual Arts - Body of Work
These pages are designed to help Visual Arts students with the research component of their body of work. If you have spoken to me about your body of work, there will be a page with your topic on it that includes books, articles, links and questions to make you think more deeply about what you want to achieve. You can respond to me by leaving a message on Edmodo or this page.
Even if you've already planned your body ofwork, it's a good idea to keep up with what's going on in the world of Contemporary Art. These sites offer you a chance to keep up with the art world online. Some will even send weekly updates to your email.

Getting started
If you don't have any idea of what you want to create, think about:
Remember, the ideas you discard are as important the ones you later use, so don't be afraid to run with a few different ideas at this point. The more inspirations you have, the better.
- What medium are you best at (sculpture, printmaking, film, painting...?)
- What kind of art do you do in your free time or when you're bored?
- What are you passionate about?
- Is there an interest or issue you've had a for a couple of years? (you probably won't get sick of it before it's due!)
- What upsets you? (if you have strong feelings about it, you're unlikely to get bored of it)
